Unable to deliver on promises

I received a call from Ishmael, offering me the opportunity to upgrade my mtn contract. I pay R50 every second month - the contract period came to an end and the contract now runs on a month to month basis.

Ishmael assured me more than once, i would not pay more than I am currently paying. We considered different handsets (eg Blackberry @ R149 pm) but I repeated I was not willing to pay more than I am currently paying.

I decided on a Nokia Asha 306, (I only had a choice of two) I asked Ishmael to confirm the new contract wouldn't cost me anything extra. He advised I would need to pay a once off fee of approximately R90. He also advised billing would change to 4c/s and this would in effect allow more talk time.

Ishmael took my details and said he would read the declaration, prior to terminating the call. He then read the declaration, during which he informed me the cost would be R69 per month! I reminded him, I had told him a number of times I was not willing to pay more than R50 every second month! And he assured me I wouldn't pay more than I'm currently paying. He then admitted he didn't know what I was currently paying. I want a contract @ R50 with the Nokia Asha 306.
