I upgraded a contract at this particular branch of Cell C and was promised a free cover for the phone that I had selected would be delivered at their outlet within a week. This was in the beginning of May 2013. I go to the mall every week and make a point of going to the Cell C outlet and asking about the promised cover for my phone. I am amazed by the number of different excuses I get as to why the covers are not there. I still have no cover for my phone and don't expect to ever get one either. If anyone ever gets promised a free cover for any phone from Cell C, before you sign the contract tell them you will sign when you have the cover.
This is another gimmick used to fast track sales when the people in the branch know that what they are promising will never happen. Why should they to a customer and have they no respect or pride for the brand that they represent?
