OVER THE LAST 2-3 WEEKS WE HAVE PUBLISHED THE SAME COMPLAINT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. FINALLY A TECHNICIAN CAME TO WORK ON THE LINE, HE SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY PERSON IN THE EASTERN CAPE THAT HAS THE CAPACITY AND KNOWLEDGE TO WORK ON FAULTY LINES!!! AFTER SPENDING THE DAY UP AND DOWN HILLS DOING HIS PART (THAT WAS SATURDAY) BUT TO OUR HORROR HE TRIED TELKOM HQ, TELKOM CAPE TOWN AND TELKOM UMTATA TO RESET OUR LINE... NOBODY WAS THERE AND THOSE THAT WERE, WEREN'T PREPARED TO DO THE WORK OVER A WEEKEND THEY PROMISED IT WOULD BE UP AND RUNNING ON MONDAY MORNING FIRST THING!!! THIS IS WHAT GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS ARE... THIS IS WHAT YOU PAY SERVICES FOR AND GUESS WHAT IT IS NOW MONDAY 4.43PM AND WAIT FOR IT... STILL NO LAND LINE . IF THERE IS ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT HAS A SOLUTION OR THAT KNOWS OF A COMPANY THAT PROVIDE SATELLITE SERVICES PLEASE LET US KNOW... TELKOM HAS THIS OPTION BUT HAVE NOT PUT IT FORWARD TO US TO DATE.
