Cancelled my 10 gb dsl account with telkom last week. They promised to call me with in 3/2 days to confirm. I still haven't received a call. I emailed them and they still haven't contacted me back. So this is how they do it when you want to cancel something with them. All they need to do is call me so the 30 day grace period can kick in. But they clearly are taking their time so they can keep charging me. The exact same has happened to a mate of mine in capetown and they did the exact to him (he cancelled on the 13 June, they called him on the 14th Of July and they now owe him 440.00). I know he is now taking legal action as he is a lawyer himself to prove his point of bad business ethics between telkom and its customers. I think he should get a list of peoples names and issues they have had with telkom as evidence, as I can see plenty here on HelloPeter. Its not about the money its about their terrible attitude towards customers. Watch and wait for their automated response I'm guessing... Valued customer my hole. This is why I choose afrihost over these complete.
