I work in the hospitality industry and is quite busy during the day and don't have time to call, call centres. For this reason I sent and e-mail to Cell C (which is there for convenience), for a problem that I have been experiencing on their website. I received an e-mail back which said that they will reply in 48 hours max. After 2 days I decided to call them myself. The lady that answered could not assist and put me through to someone else that will be able to assist and after waiting for a few minutes got cut off and the call was ended. Firstly, I e-mailed because I do not have the time to wait on a call until someone decides to answer, secondly, all of the trouble I went through was absolutely pointless as I still received no feedback whatsoever. You would think, that with the current advertising strategy that they want people to switch to cell Their customer service will be excellent. What a joke. So, I am not better off since swithcing to Cell C as their customer service at this stage is horrendous.
