I renewed my cellphone contract last year (end 2012) with Nashua Mobile, I switched from mtn to CELL C! what a disaster! from day one I could not get a signal on the phone. I spend a whole day at the Midrand office branch to sort out the problem. I complained, wrote letters since febr 2013.
I tried everything to get the service provider and CELL C to cancel my contract. I am a NASHUA MOBILE client for over 12 years! I had to change my cell number with all my banks, family, friends and clients to my husbands number. I am paying for a service which I do not have! NOW, after months of letters, and even cell c coming to my home, they want the phone back (i paid for about 8 months!) and still do not want to put in writing what part of the payment they will pay back to me! I have several contracts with Nashua Mobile.
I am still paying the contract! I never have a signal, it's always emergency calls only or no service! since I refused on 5/8/2013 to give the phone back before they put in writing the compensation - no word from them!
they are screwing the public, we can do nothing if they don't provide a service!
