If your internet is down for over 3 days and you are paying top dollar for the best they have on offer then surely you have a right to talk to someone if things go wrong. Think again - it is impossible to complain and to with what i pay per month. all they have is an email and a fax for complaints. the kafka'esk call centre operation of telkom is so frustrating my wife nearly cried. waiting for up to 75 minutes for a response is a just not professional. However, the people at the call centre are not to blame as they are always friendly but the system stinks.
Moreover telkom is a. I pay for 30 gigs per month but whatever bandwidth i don't use I lose and is not carried forward. no one can tell me that it is not possible to write a little macro to carry forward unused gigs (=cash). What amazes is how they can so openly.
NOw how is this. I am told that my router is out of date and i have to get a new one. Yep at a charge of R159 for delivery within 21 days. Why charge me - I have a contract for 24 months. I think perhaps it stime for us to move on to another supplier.
