I'm recently working in Queenstown, Eastern Cape area. Cell c claims to have 98% coverage, this area is probably the 2% that they don't cover. Every month I pay my full month's payment which in-turn cell c gives me coverage for the half of the month. Don't even try to phone them to help you because either you wait 30 min for a consultant or when you do get through they can't help you. I promoted cell c to my whole family and friends, but clearly that was a major mistake on my behalf. They intrigue you with their amazingly low call rates etc. but there is always a catch. Poor call centre service, poor network coverage. Rarely get HSDPA service on my phone which cell c claims to spent billions on. I am very disgusted with cell c and I won't recommend anyone to switch to this "service provider".
