Outstanding After-sales support is NOT a myth!

Greetings,
A special thank you to Sameera and Javed from Altech AP in Pavillion who have made my retail experience one to savor. What had the potential to grow into something ugly- what we expect from our money-hungry retail outlets- actually turned out to be a blessing and I've made 2 friends in the mobile industry who I can turn to for professional advise and support at the drop of a hat.
My Samsung handset had been back and forth between repair centre and the retailer and the fault could not be resolved. At wits end and with no handset, I asked Sameera to intervene and push for a replacement. She was kind enough to assist me with a loan unit, and took it upon herself to interrogate the problem and find a timeous resolution. She gave me upfront detailed information about the time frames and advised me that she will do her best to expedite the request to have my phone swapped out asap.

I called periodically-Javed would take the calls, and advise me on the progress and also reassure me that the store would not leave me stranded, that I will have my swap out.

It took some time [no thanks to Vendor] but Altec Autopage delivered, with a smile.

All-round outstanding effort. Kudos!
