Incorrect debit order date

I took out the Telkom Mobile contract in June, I was told that I will receive an account in the post to confirm the amount that I will be paying for this contract, on the 9th of June I went to the Uitenhage Branch to confirm when my debit order will go off and what the amount will be as I have not received an account in the mail. The lady provided me with a print out and confirmed that the due at on the statement is the 31/07/2013. I then to make 100% sure, I phoned the call center on 081 180 on the 10th of July at 08:35 spoke to Katleho, he confirmed that the debit order date will be 31/07/13. I asked him are you sure it will not go off before then and he replied yes.
I only received the account yesterday, the account also states 31/07/13. The lady that I spoke to today at 09:10pm Sipiwe also confirmed that the debit order date is 31/07/13, yet Telkom tried to deduct the money yesterday, the debit order returned as unsuccessful, I am in the proses of purchasing a house from ABSA and I applied for a car loan, this returned debit order will have a negative effect on my credit states, I requested a letter of apology to confirm it was their mistake, yet no success.
