I signed up for a new StraightUp 100 CellC contract with Samsung S3 Mini handset on Thursday 11/07 at the Bayside Mall branch. Gerald was a very pleasant consultant who assisted me.
I was told that they would phone around the other Cape Town stores to source me a handset as they had no S3 Minis in stock.
Friday I stopped by the store again to check on progress and they still had not found me a phone but the consultant assured me he would call me on Monday with an update.
Monday came and went without a call from the store. I called the store on Tuesday and was told that there are no Samsung S3 Mini's in any of the Cape Town stores and they are waiting on a shipment from Jhb... but they can't say when it will arrive?!
So should I just hold on for the next few days, weeks or however long it takes to get my phone?
How can you advertise a deal on a phone and then not be able to supply said phone in a reasonable amount of time and also not be able to tell the customer when it will arrive.
