My mom & I went 2 Vodacom 2 go & upgrade her phone. We said 2 Tsepiso that we want 2 keep the contract that my mom is currently on for R79 which was verbally agreed on. Then we started getting a whole lot of free stuff & couldnt understand why. Everything amounted to R500. We asked what this was 4 & she said to us, it was our lucky day & we thought wow, this is awesome of Vodacom. I received my account only 2 see that Vodacom has charged me R144 for my moms phone. I phoned the cancellations department & spoke to Thabang she advised that she had phoned Westgate & said that I had signed 4 the R144 subscription. I signed the contract in good faith that Vodacom wouldnt be this unethical. When Thabang spoke 2 Tsepiso, she said that they had advised us that we would not get the reduced subscription & that we qualified 4 a store voucher. This was never told 2 me/my mother. Why would I want a contract that I am going 2 pay R60 extra a month for 24 months which equals to R1440. I want Vodacom 2 reduce my subscription as originally agreed on. If I dont get the reduced subscription as promised I will have no choice but 2 cancel my contracts with Vodacom & move 2 another service provider.
