I recently signed up to the Iburst/Cell C partnered 3G 24-month contract. In my very first month on this contract, I was billed R500 for "content services" I never subscribed to. In fact, my usage report indicates this was happening before I was even in possession of my new modem and sim card.
It has been six weeks since I made both Iburst and Cell C aware of this. Not one person has bothered to respond to my problem, and the money has of course since been debited from my account. Iburst tells me to resolve it with Cell C. And Cell C tells me to resolve it with Iburst.
I would not recommend entering into contracts with either company.
