I tried to cancel my contract since February 2013 and switch to pre-paid but i keep getting billed by the contracts department. When i call the contract call centre they tell me they can't helpme because I am now pre-paid. When i call the pre-paid call centre, they say they can't access that information as it is for contract customers. In the meantime, MTN is still happily debiting me and I have to phone every month to try and cancel this contract again and being assured it has! The last straw was the threatening letter i received at the end of June for non-payment of a contract that should have been terminated at the end of March, last billing date being April! I have spent so much of money trying to get hold of them because most times, their numbers cut off, the 808 number doesn't work if you don't have a contract number, used the complaints section 2 times but no one called me back! I want a refund of my money that you are! I even had a pre-paid manager take my details with the assurance that he will try to assist me but i never got a call back. I am trying to apply for a house and now I might be listed for an account that should have been closed ages ago
