This is day 6 of trying to get someone at Telkom to sort out our ADSL! We have heard many excuses from our modem is faulty to the filter. WE TESTED EVERYTHING and the fault is not on our side! Telkom worked on the lines and since then we do not have internet access. I spoke to a friend in a different province who checked our lines and confirmed the cause is a faulty ADSL port at exchange! Unfortunately his hands are tied due to not being in Cape Town. Our internet is our livelihood and if we can not generate an income, we can not pay our account! I am seriously considering cancelling my Telkom subscription! COME ONE! Surely there has to be a technician that can sort this out - WITHOUT trying to think up all kinds of weird and wonderful excuses!
