Phoning incessantly to sell new services

I have continuously received calls from the number 011 995 0000 and when I answer it is a machine response saying "Please hold the line for a consultant". For the past week I have been ending the call immediately, as I have no requirement for unsolicited (aka SPAM) services. These calls would take place until after 20:00 at night, sometimes only 5min apart.

Today I received another of these calls, and I eventually held on long enough to speak to someone and hear what it is they want to sell me (and so I could find out who the company was). The irony is that I coincidentally cancelled my ISP service with Telkom last week already, and today's call from Telkom was to upgrade my existing ADSL/ISP for another R196 pm.

I don't deny anyone the opportunity to advertise their products, but when I cancel a call 8 times in a row, I would expect that you remove me from your SPAM database and stop bothering me with unsolicited sales requests.
