In may my fiance upgraded from a blackberry to a samsung galaxy pocket plus. The staff member at mtn never canceled the BIS service on the contract. Then he changed her debit order date without explaining that the debit order will be double next time. The 29th she went in-store and paid r305, the amount that this specific staff member said it will be. Only reason she paid instore was because her money didn't show in her account yet. End of june r620 goes off from her account. Making the payment total r925. Saterday we went in to sort this out. The first store didn't have a clue what went on so they sent us to the other. They lodged a query and the waiting began. Mtn hasn't replied yet even after my fiance went back instore today again. Only thing they said was that the payment MIGHT only be sorted out in 21days.
I would love to know how they take on staff that 'forgets' to cancel certain things. They are quick to remind people they need to pay but slow to sort over charging out. Think its time to change to another service provider!
