I have been to the Hout Bay and Cape Town branches, filled in forms, gave copies of my ID. All this to cancel a 3G contract that has expired years ago. This time i've been told that it never was cancelled because I didnt speak to the head office consultant on the phone. So, for years, because I didnt speak to anyone on the phone, but rather went into the branch, I wasnt entitled to service. They took R299 from me for years. And the answer i received: because I should have, by some miracle, known their internal processes, I will be penalised and pay for yet another month. Not only will they make me pay R299 for June but they make me PRE-PAY for July AS WELL, today! And that while I am doing my part and ever SO PATIENTLY try cancel this contract for YEARS already!!! Olga Mondoethu, Jennifer Letho, Olga Isahsu... all managers responsible for cancellations. No one can help me! As soon as my phone contract expires in August, (The top package too) I take both my contracts away from Vodacom.
