Virgin Mobile South Africa
I was blacklisted after I canselled the contract

I need to know how it is possible / legal for Virgin mobile to blacklist me if they up.

My understanding is that it is illegal as they do not have an admission of guilt - I am not guilty.

I cannot take responsibility for Virgin mobiles gross incompetence.

o I went into the Bridge shop four times to cancel this contract at 3 months before expiry, again on 2 months and again at the end.
o I wrote many cancelation notices of which I got no reply.
o I have spoken to Virgin consultants no less than 20 times to either cancel or ask them to stop harassing me.
o I have sms'd them back after every threat to hand me over to your esteemed organisation.

The short of this is I did my part, I took out a 24 month contract that I religiously paid and then cancelled like any good citizen would, in the shop and on paper and on sms and on every account they send me.

I have now spend hours on the phone to JHB to sort this out. I have been promised a
letter saying that I don't owe them. This was to be with me by 17h00. Guess what nothing.
