No refund even if sales person is responsible

I purchased cell phone car charger from Vodacom Chatz Cellular on recommendation of sales person who insisted that product he suggested was the correct product. I paid the R80 and when I used the charger a couple of hours later it did not work and stated that it was not compatible with Blackberry. En-route I bought a replacement from another store as i had desperate need for the charger on my journey. I had to take the 40km drive back to the store to return the product and when explaining the situation was told that I couldn't possibly be correct. This particular charger worked with all BB products. Even a customer in the store commented on their wrong knowledge of the product they sell. They then said that they will go and check another charger in my vehicle and if it doesnt work and if not give me a refund. When returning to the shop obviously with the charger not working, I was offered any other product but not refund. They acknowledged that the sales consultant was new and did not know the products but i was forced to leave without a refund or the product and asked to return in the week to speak to management who was abscent on the weekend. Terrible attitude and service
