My iPhone 4 has never had an issue with signal, but recently I cannot make calls out as it says call failed, and often cannot receive calls either.
I have been into an MTN store at Campus Square - where they attempted to take my sim card out with a drawing pin (which is known to damage the sim holder in an iPhone). They then rudely told me its not their problem and I must get my iPhone fixed. I went to the Apple store which then confirmed it was not my phone by putting a VODACOM sim card in.
I have emailed MTN about the problem and they state that is my area's signal - which is untrue as I travel all over Johannesburg daily- since then I have had no reply to my problem.
This has been going on for 3 months now.
I am sick of paying hard earned money for a service that is not delivered.
I want to cancel my contract and run far far away from MTN as possible.
