A account was opened in my name in Gauteng during last year, on 16 May 2013 I received the first communication informing me that I was blacklisted due to not paying the account. This was the first time I heard about the account, and by then I was already blacklisted. After sending all the documents as required by the legal department at Vodacom on the same day, a follow up was done the next Monday on the status of the matter. According to a person at the legal department the investigation takes 5 working days to be resolved. After 15 working days another follow up call was made and there was NO PROGRESS. I was informed they cannot give any time line for the matter to be resolved.
