Damaged goods and poor service

I purchased a compaq laptop on contract with cell c telephonically on this number 084140cell and the person who attended me was Rendani. the laptop was delivered on the 28th of march. I discovered the the internet wasn't connected even thought i had a modem. I called them immediately and they sent Ram hand to hand couriers to collect it and they promiced to send it back within 14-21 days
After 21 days, on the 24th of April, i went back to cell c Sandton where i spoke to the store manger Neren Chetty who took my particulars and promiced to call me the following day, which she didn't. On the 29th of April i went back to cell c and the manager was off duty, I was attended by Davesh Haripersad who also promiced to make a follow up and will come back to me the following day which he never did. I was desperate when i agreed to this contract because i am studying and my assignments and communication with my lecturers are done online. I am frustrated because i am paying for the laptop which i dont have. it is so difficult to get cell c on the phone, instead you loose a lot of money while your put on hold.
Please help me i can not take this any longe
