Telkom -Slow/Bad service

It took Telkom 3 months to determine that our intermittent service is due to a cable with several joints on our premises. This cable, to date, hasn't been replaced but gets rejoined and this lasts an hour and while the query queue is open we are not allowed to log the same line fault again until the query has been closed. This can take up to 6 work days (no weekends). This means that each query can take almost 2 weeks and during this time we are without a telephone and our ISP service is down. We contacted them on our mobile phones and this is at high daytime cost as the 10210 line for fault reporting is an office hours line. We are also using Vodacom modem for internet access at a price. In the meantime we are paying FULL Telkom account every month for line rental, ADSL line and ISP service which we can't use for a 3 month period. Non Payment resulted in suspension of the line!!! The call center agents for ISP service doesn't answer the line after hours, we tried on Sunday evening after 10 pm, no answer while holding the line for 20minutes, daytime not such a friendly service as been advertised. They are more concerned about receiving R450 for fake call outs. Disgusting
