I cancelled my Telkom Internet on the 4th of June 2013 but kept my ADSL line active.
I received a reference and was then told that it won't be cancelled immediately and that what I am doing is giving a month's notice. I advised the lady that when I applied telephonically that this was not mentioned to me and seeing that all their calls are recorded they can go back and check this. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I think the standard response is that they are in a meeting came back. I asked for the name of the manager and the lady supplied this and also said that she will email him my concern/complaint. The name of the agent was Mpho Modisakeg and the manager Mpho Ndlovu. I have not heard from Telkom again since then.
