I opened a smart m contract on the 1st of may 2013 for a Blackberry Z10. as i understood the repayments every month would be - R489 R50 cap amount for caller id (total - R550) included in my contract was 120 minutes, 240 sms and 120mb and UNLIMITED bbm. my megabytes were up within the first few days and my phone then softlocked includ BBM. what they failed to tell me was that EVERYTHING uses data and my bbm IS NOT UNLIMITED! i called the called centre on 7 occasions no one could tell me what was using my data - reponse was I HAVE TO PAY TO RECIEVE THAT INFO!! is the purpose of calling CUSTOMER SERVICE if i have to pay to receive assistance!!! i deleted ALL THE APPILCATIONS off my phone which is now a bb z10 with a camera! i was informed AFTER the fact that i couldve cancelled my contract and now i am stuck paying a bill of almost R700 and its only month 1! i have been a supporter of vodacom for the last 13yrs and in one month i hate this network! i wish i never took out a contract with vodacom as now i sit with a expensive phone and can do jack with it! i am not interested in anyone calling me to TRY and explain the issues as the first 7 were useless!
