This is about the 5th time i write a complaint to vodacom and each time the customer complaints person treat me more and more terrible. I have a very old cellphone account which i asked to be cancelled earlier due to being unfailry dismissed due to ill health after have an injury on duty which led to spinal surgery. When i called vodacom they understood and said i must pay 300pm, i adhered even though i couldnt put food on my table. I then called a few months later stating i cant afford it but possible can settle for R1500 - they refused and bare in mind 1500 includes mostly interest i was only owing 900 to start with. The lady i spoke with Janine or Jenny was rude, she refused to help and therefore the account just hung. I make an effort again to pay even without a job and then they hand me over to sterling debt recoveries who requires documents uif, affidavit police station for vodacom to see i am unemployed. Do you people not see that this costs me money, petrol, etc i do not have. if you accepted i was unemployed before when i said it directly why cant you now? why put me through more burdens of a leagal firm with added commissions etc when i have tried direct with vodacom.
