My partner and I entered into a contract with Telkom for internet and landline package. This contract is for 2 years. They came to install the line yesterday (03/06/13). The technicians referred us to their offices for the landline telephone as they are no longer allowed to come with the telephones because the company accuses them of selling them to the public. My partner then today went to collect the phone from Telkom offices at Southgate Mall. To his surprise he was told he should BUY the telephone. REALLY??? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. They accuse their staff of selling the phones but they have the nerve to then turn around and sell the phones themselves to the public that has entered into contracts with them. WHAT A RIP OFF! They never said anything to us about their phones being sold. Otherwise we would not have entered into this contract. I have always given Telkom the benefit of the doubt when people are bad mouthing them now I know what they are talking about. And we will definitely cancel this contract!!!
