Buying a Sim Card unessassarily

I upgraded my phone over the phone last week, thinking it would be fast and easy. I was upgrading from a blackberry to the new Samsung Galaxy S3 mini. the call centre agent then told me a new micro sim card would have to be used for all the new phones. i asked her then if it would then be billed at the end of the month and she confirmed. I received my phone and my new Sim. struggling to understand why it didnt fit, i jiggled it around a bit. and it worked. this morning the sim stopped working, i then noticed the scratched on the card. i had damaged it. so i went to the vodacom shop in my lunch hour. The store then told me i have the incorrect sim, and the i was sold the micro sim by fault. i couldve kept my old Sim. I am requesting that you deduct that fee immediately as i cannot do a sim swop until it has been removed or payed (i refuse to pay for a sim that i didnt need) and because this is not my fault, i think Vodacom can replace my old Sim card for free. your call centre agent to me. selling me an item she told me i needed!! now i am sitting without a working phone! i do not have time to sit in the customer care store all day! this is why i upgraded over the phone!!!
