I'm at my wits end with MTN

I did an upgrade on the 30.05.2013 at 17:58 and I was told that my new phone required a new sim as well did all of this in store on the same day, I was told that my old sim will stop working within a few hours and my new sim will then start working, today its the 02.06.2013 the sim is not working I have called the customer service line and was told that they have sent through a request for the sim activation to their technician and it will be fixed in 2 to 24hrs ohh well its been more than 72hrs and nothing seems to be changing I have been calling MTN for the past 3 days and I'm told the same story that they still working on my query. I'm feedup and I'm frustrated I'm without a phone for 72hrs and I'm expected to wait for what I don't know?
