Cellsure has done a serious damage to my loyalty to Vodacom. I took insurance for a iPhone 4 and when it broke down, I opted to claim from insurance on Tuesday 28 May after a report from repairs department. The consultant advised that she'll process my claim the following day as she needed to confirm stock availability. She called me the following day to advise that the claim has been rejected because another SIM was in the phone at the time it broke. She referred me to a clause "Contract subscriber means the cellular telephone in use together with the Sim card as defined for contract subscribers and includes mobile data connect cards." My point is that nowhere where I signed was it ever unambiguously mentioned that I am not allowed to insert another SIM in the phone. Since the network provider is able to see if another SIM is used, they should've equally alerted me as such and likewise should have stopped collecting premiums. Instead they waited for the claim to be lodged. Be assured this isn't about money. As a fact, I use 2 other Mac products for various reasons including work. All on Vodacom network. My loyalty? It's so easy to push it on the customer but the effect thereof?
