I had a problem with cell C 2 years ago re their billings and subsequently had to cancel my debit order cos my bill was debited 2 mnts in a row.they cancelled my contracts and when I asked for a bill to settle they did not send one but telephonically told me I owed R11900, and since had no correspondence with them. Last month I got a letter of demand for R24900 from a debt company saying they would sell my property in order to get the money. When I called them and requested a bill they billed me R15 for my call with no assistance as this was a call centre who had to refer back to cell c. I then got a letter saying I owed the R24900 R15 for the letter. I called cell c and they cannot assist me with a statement and refered me back to the call centre who in turn cannot answer my questions as to how the bill has doubled in 2yrs. Cell c has alway had my address details yet they did not correspond with me via e-mail or by letter. My query is why they cannot send me a statement of account justifying the amount they say I owe and why am I being billed for trying to speak to the call centre. I cannot get answers from anyone and yet demands are being made for me to pay
