I went to mtn for internet services. I filled in the contract and waited for the modem. While waiting for the modem a better deal came up. I read through the existing MTN contract's terms and conditions and found that I could cancel within 7 working days. I went the next day to the branch to cancel the contract. I did not open the modem, I gave it back to the supplier and Colin and I signed the cancelled documentation and he assured me that it should not be a problem. I received a billing statement at the end of that month stating that mtn has deducted from my banking account. I went back to Colin and asked him about it. He told me that they would see to the matter. I received a second billing letter, went back to mtn, they promised again that they will tend to the matter. I received a third billing letter, I smsed Colin, he told me that his manager will see to the matter. three payments have been made to a product that I never used. I acted within my rights, and the Vincent mtn branch were quick to sell their product and very slow to cancel the contract and to reimburse my money. I would appreciate it when you can tend to this matter. Thank you for a great website!
