Telkom responded and gave me an escalation number, but as I suspected their pathetic service department hasn't taken any action to resolve my issue.
Telkom, please get yourself into gear. You are my service provider, it's in the contract that I signed when opting to elect you as my service provider, that you would take care of any faults. It is a fault on your SIDE!!! you must resolve this issue!!! You have left a cable running across my lawn for Pete's sake! I will escalate this myself if you do not assist me!
