Last year November my cellphone was from my pocket at 5.00 pm. My attention was diverted and I was not aware it was. I started searching for it but was not unduly worried as a cellphone is often mislaid.By the time I got to Mtn it was too late and they informed me about R6000 worth of content charges.(online gambling) from pm till 12.00 next day before account was suspended.
I requested from Mtn a written statement why the account was only suspended on R6000 and not on R2000. Superviser Roenelle promised immediate action but It was never received and all attempts to contact her proved fruitless. Why have a credit limit of R2000 if it is not enforced?
The only invoice received was in December last year but have now suddenly been informed it was handed over. Went to Mtn Headoffice yesterday. Requested reduction in amount, no dice. Thought request was reasonable under circumstances. Given till weekend to pay.

I think the service at Mtn is very bad indeed. Have been a customer for many years but no more. Myself and family will go over to Vodacom. Myself immediately as phone out of contract since before incident and prepaid now.
