My account was initially debit, then I changed it to a cash payment due to the high fees for the debit. I have been making payments before the end of each month since the change. I have check my credit record on trans union and notice that I am in 30days arrears since Jan2013, Feb2013, Mar2013, April2013 and including May. I have contact virgin and I was advised to make a payment today which I did. On my statements it states that my account will be debited on the 20th. This is misleading as the operator told me that a payment should be made before the 20th to avoid the arrears. This is a concern as I was not notified of this and this has put me in a bad position in getting a home loan. I was not notified of the 30day arrears and no notification that I should pay before the 20th.
