DI raised a query recently on hellopeter REQ:1618456 to which I am still waiting for my iphone 5.
I initially went to MTN to cancel the contract I currently have with them. I saw a big poster of the iphone 5 which I was interested an thought let me apply for one. I asked the consultant to which he responded to say MTN will be getting stock the following day. Thinking he was honest I applied and got approved for one an said I can collect it the following day. I went to MTN the following day to be told it didn't come today that I must come back the following day to which another consultant intervened an said that it will be weeks until they receive stock. After the consultant initially told me the following day. I was to and MTN has my signature trying to sell me something they don't have. MTN won't hesitate to take my money but I must wait for them? MTN should have anticipated such demand for the device. Other SPs have iphone 5's waiting to be sold so what am I waiting for with MTN?
