It's now months that my daughter, 15 years old, does not get ant airtime with her TopUp 100. Even on the same day her account is being topped up. On phoning MTN I was told the various companies, DialUp Mobile, Opera Telecom, Emmu Trading as well as a company Bon Jovi was deducting as much as R14.50 PER DAY off her account. That is more than R400 per month although she is only getting R100 top-up per month. This is. How can a 15 year old go into a contract with these companies? She also says she agreed to nothing on her phone and I believe her as I've explained these to her before. MTN won't refund my (her) money as they are partners in this crime. Can Carte Blanche not take up this matter and expose these daylight robbers. They are scoring millions of rands daily from unsuspecting subscribers! And you're not getting any service in trade for your money! I personallly handed this matter over to my lawyers as I want to do something to stop this rot.
