We signed a contract with Telkom for a uncapped ADSL line. In the beginning everything worked well, and then the performance of the line went down, even to the point that the connection was lost. We logged a call with Telkom regarding this matter and they said all was well with the line. Late last week we logged call again to report the problem and we found out that Telkom throttles the connections, starting with the uncapped contracts. We signed a contract for uncapped ADSL, they charge the same amount every month. They do not charge less because the connection is slower. In my opinion this is breach of contract. They market a product, sell it at a price and then they change the nature of the product at will without consultation.
