I upgraded to a Blackberry Curve 9360 six months ago and convinced my handset was a dud to begin with.
Since day one it was acting up... lags, freezing, depleted battery power within a few hours, constant reboots, phone switching-off by itself. I barely used my phone, just short calls, bbm, few mails and some random social networking.
3 weeks ago I took my phone in to Cell C Bayside Centre Cape Town to finally take a look at it when it switched off one morning after working in the evening... and never came on again, even after being charged.
Today I receive I message from Cell C saying that I must collect my handset which is "water" damaged beyond repair??? How on earth can my phone have water damage when it didn't come into contact with water?
I had it charging overnight and in the morning it came on and then went off and now suddenly its water damaged!
I should have listen to all the Samsung customers who said stay away from blackberry, and now I know why!
Off to Samsung I go along with my husband who is due for an upgrade... think a S4's lifespan should be way longer than 6 months! Sorry Q10 if this didn't happen I would have picked you!
