I have reported a fault on the Smart Village communal DSTV service in Southdowns Estate (Lofts South Unit 8) (over 2 weeks ago). I cannot receive some of the DSTV channels (including the main channel 101). After calling the contact centre and reporting the problem at least 5 times, nothing has been done. Here is a snipped of what they promise on their website:
Telephone Calls to our Contact Centre number (0861 845 5243), which will be dealt with as promptly as possible. The option of leaving a message when high call volumes are experienced is also available. Voice messages are tended to within 2 - 4 hours from reception.
NOT A CHANCE. LEFT MESSAGE. NOBODY HAS CONTACTED ME.
Faults logged before 10:00 on a business day will be attended to by 12:00 the next working day.
Faults logged after 10:00 on a business day will be tended to by close of business
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 WEEKS FOR THIS TO BE FIXED
Not a single one of the promises they made on their website have been honored! Clifford in the contact centre has escalated the incident to a Annerie and she would have contacted me. Never happened. I have even spoken to technical people (Theunis and Chris).
