It came to my attention that there is two cell phone contracts under my ID number - registered with Autopage - although I have no cell phone contracts with them. I contacted them last week (Friday 3 May at 10:13) and spoke to Patience. She verified that there is two contracts under my ID number and said she would log a call with the department and they will contact me - she was unable to give me a reference number for the call and said I must use her name.
It is now a week later and no response. I am concerned that my ID number is used by other people and what concerns me most is that the one contract was taken out in 2005 and the other in 2007. What happened with RICA? Was this not picked up when those numbers were RICAed by the owners of these two cell phones.
I have left numerous messages on the website - without a response - I have even requested the department's number - but no one can help me with that.
Hopefully now someone from Autopage will contact me to sort this out.
