I ported my number to a 8ta contract and took an IPHONE 5. I am not able to send sms's and have called various times to no avail yet they have charged me for sending sms's on the latest bill. Also, they have charged me for a full month of usage of the handset yet I only took the contract on 23 April! This the call centre says is how it works with 8ta yet I specifically asked the salesman if this is charged pro-rata upon taking out the contract.
