I have accumulated over R 8000 worth of airtime in two years. Primarily because of the bad reception, network not available and constant dropping of calls. It got so bad that I would rather drive to someone than try to phone. The contract is up for renewal and I want to migrate to a cheaper package, quite logical I think. I can do that but MTN would then as part of their policy the R8k paid for airtime from me.
This is an unacceptable practise and MTN need to change their policy of from customers. They need to transfer customers paid for airtime and SMS's to where ever the client request. Even to prepaid.
Why do airtime and SMS's have to expire in any case. Is that not just another way of from customers?
I don't know if MTN have noticed but the economy is what it used to be. Stat helping your clients and not just as much as you can. Shame on you.
