Purchased a new HTC desire S from MTN about a year ago. The cellphone would keep switching off by itself, so i have sent it to MTN to be repaired, three times. Its been in repair for more than 6months in the last year, they claimed to have had it fixed the first two times, now on sending it in the third time
(to fix THE SAME PROBLEM) they tell me the guarantee is now lost/ expired because the phone had fell in the meantime.
But what is ridiculous, its the same problem i have sent it in for the last two times, now on the third time we sent it in, its been declined and they want to charge us an additional R1000 to get it fixed without a guarentee its going to work. Unless MTN fix this up I am moving straight to Vodacom, ill pay more with Vodacom but at least ill get much better service
