I cancelled my contract in February as it was due to end in March. I went to an MTN store and filled out the appropriate forms. I was billed in March which is fine. Then in April, there was no debit order and I assumed that my contract was cancelled. Now in May, I have a debit order for 3x my subscription fee. Upon calling the call center they told me that it was only cancelled on 02 May (ported to prepaid) which is why they debited me.
MTN's slow cancellations department is not my fault and I should not have to pay for the months of April and May. I expect that this debit be reversed immediately. This is what they call.
