My spouse & I took 2 phones on contract on 7/12/2012 an iPhone and LG.We weren't happy with the LG we returned it the next day as is not what we initially wanted. We were not made to sign anything & were told the contract will be cancelled within a month and everything will be back to normal as my partner had ported from MTN to Cell C.I contacted CustomerCare to enquire about the matter and i was informed the contract takes 24 hours to 7 working working days to be cancelled which they dont see any cancellation letter on the system. I then contacted the Store to ask why my contract hasn't been cancelled that was early February, i was then told they will do follow ups on the query TODATE.The manager admits to have sent an email to Cancellation Department on 8/12/2012 but they never attended to it. I was only made to do the cancellation letter after i went to the store 23/3/2013.Weeks after they told me to fill the network form which i did as my partner has been experiencing networks problem since he ported. Im now told to either take the new handset of the same value which i don't WANT or pay the full amount for the phone. I want this contract to be cancelled ASAP& a full REFUND.
