Myself and my partner joined Virgin active about 7 months ago. We were sold the fact that we get an extra Adidas bag & bottle as these are expensive. However, when it came to collecting the bag its only been promises of when they are getting stock, usually at the end of the month. Its been just about 7 months now and still no bags and bottles... same old story every occasion we ask.
I feel this is misleading and I am in the process of assembling a case with the CPA committee. According to the terms of CPA I can rightfully disengage our contracts due to Virgin selling misleading information and creating a breach of contract, I will only be liable for the sessions I have used the gym facilities and will be required to be refunded for my contributions for the last few months. As appealing as this sounds, this is not my first choice.
I simply ask for you to arrange the bags and bottles for myself and my partner, and not rubbish bags & bottles... but the quality Adidas provides as a norm.
I do not feel my request is unreasonable, as I was sold a package and only received half a package.
I trust you'll find this complaint in order and rectify accordingly.
