I have been trying to get my gym membership resolved since January 2013. I have been completely ignored to date. My now wife and I had purchased 3 year gym memberships in January 2012. I was currently on a 1 year membership at the time. The sales rep mentioned that this was not a problem and that my contract will start automatically once my then existing one had expired. This never happened and now am only getting 2 of my 3 years due to me. I had also taken the services of a personal trainer in the gym at the time wearing a planet fitness shirt and using there facility who i paid for ten session and decided to disappear and join his family business up country around my 5th session. The gym was not interested and said that it was not there problem. I have tried to get hold of management on multiple occasions to inform them about faulty machinery and other poor service related issues, but no reply. I am currently trying to cancel our contracts but am been given the run around, seems that they are trying to run my contract out before i get a reply in order not to pay me out. Problem is that i still have two years due to me and the wife 1 year. I am still waiting for an explanation...
