In September 2012 a lady named Cindy marketed the body lab gym to me and informed me that when I want to cancel I pay a fee of R250 to cancel the gym contract and they will nominate a third party to take over the contract. A man named Chilli who is apart of the management at that gym assured me that this is indeed true. When I realised I was I went back to the manager to cancel my contract and he said I had to nominate a third party myself and was rude about it, despite giving me his word when he needed me to sign the contract.
I eventually found a person to take over the contract and Paid the transfer fee of R250 and was told my business is done with them, a month later they send me an sms telling me to pay R250 and I called a man named Johnathan at head office who informed me that the system hasnt updated my transfer fee and I should ignore all sms's. Today I was called and told that the tranfer was effective from 1/1/2013, so I need to pay december's fee and the arrears, interest and letter fee for bennet and associates. Why do I need to pay for the the arrear's and all other costs incurred as a result of Body Labs incompetent staff who misinformed me?
